Whoops, it has been a while. Having a kid will do that to you. I'm having a great time being stay at home mom, but let's do a quick recap?
1. Resolutions (Writing / Reading)
2. Family Life
4. Flight Rising Dragon
So, my resolutions are pretty much the same, eat right, exercise more, but for my Writing/Reading Goals? I'm on track with my monthly goals found on my NaNoWriMo goal trackers. I'm writing a contemporary romance, so far, it might change as I develop the story. My husband bought me a tablet and keyboard to xmas. It looses connection so often I don't use it because it dies every 3 words for some reason/ And whenever my daughter sees me on the computer, like now, she HAS to be in my arms and hitting the keyboard to so writing has been... plotting, and planning, but not really writing...
My daughter is 9 months old now! Time really does fly. She's so cute! ALSO, I got two budgies! I'm hoping that I'll be able to tame them soon! They're both girls, the one on the left is Cress and the right is IKo, both from the Lunar Chronicle book series by Marssa Meyer.
My best friend got me into crochet, so all of my usual writing and reading time has gone right to crochet because my daughter likes to watch or let me do it, (as opposed to NOT letting me type in the keyboard, lol!)
If you've seen my videos or blogs in the past, you know I'm addicted to Flight Rising and as of late I've made a Dragon that represents me, (this being the 3rd dragon of mine to be my mascot). The 1st was back in high school, the second during college, and now this one. She's mom-ish too, hah.
Well,I did give it my all for NaNoWriMo November 2017, but my daughter learned how to crawl and my productivity went down hill from there! Being a new parent is experience, happy and having a blast, all that matters!
I have my 2018 TBR pile of what I want to read/listen to this year, and my goals for writing for every month of 2018! Now I can just hope that I can stick to it!
Being a new mom and balancing my job, I wonder if I can spare some time to review books here on my blog, (because Goodreads is way too overwhelming and stressful). I'm not going to do vids on my youtube, that's way too much, lol. I'm too lazy and laid back.
Welcome to my Blog
