So, the youtube video for _Wordbound didn't drop until the 29th of the month, so I had no clue how far behind I was until Jan. 29th. Of course, I will probably use this weekend to catch up on all the _wordbound goodness. But for now, here is the WIP, lol.

Oh man, my personal writing goals for 2017?
1. Rewrite / Edit my Camp NaNo July 2016 novel, Pulled Under. 2. Complete all prompts from _Wordbound 3. Start a new novel this year, and maybe finish the 1st draft? Wordbound is an opportunity to actually get me to blog and write weekly, and get me in the flow of maybe even talking to people since I'm not very good with internet relations or finding places where writers can gather in person. Not going to lie, my resolution was to write every day of the month, not matter what the writing was be it a poem, prompt, full chapter of something, letter, journal entry, ect. It didn't really work out that well... life got busy as usual, and it's hard to go from 'having a habit' to actually scheduling and setting time aside, (at least when it's not April, July, or November for obvious #NaNo reasons). Even this cool little goal tracker on the official nanowrimo site didn't keep in my mind. And so I became discouraged again, as I've had in previous years of writing alone, (I don't have any type of support groups). It's always been that way since 2007, and then, low and behold, I find a video on youtube about famous youtuber and nanowrimo star wanting to write all year. Now, I've been watching ITalkToSnakes since 2007-2008. I'm always amazed at what she can do. She and PolandBananas20/Books have been great inspiration to me in the last year. PolandBananas actually has been writing a book for the last year, and doing great. And right after I decide that NaNoWriMo isn't for me, (I can't sacrifice full months right now), I have the same thought as Kristina Horner: Let's write ALL YEAR. But how? Well, this gem video came out 1-2 days ago, and I guess I better catch up! |
